AI Policy

LLM coding agents are wonderful and terrible. With well-scoped problems they can be a huge time saver. Without clear guidance they can make tasteless over-engineered messes.

Coding agents are used for limited amounts of designing, developing, testing, and documentation. I will not use coding agents if I believe it will make the result worse. Likewise, I will use coding agents if I believe it will make the result better.

Having agents means that I have a text box where I can write my questions and problems. When I write down a question with my understanding of a problem I often answer it myself before sending the prompt. It’s a rubber duck that can actually respond.
